Honda's "Ferris Bueller" commercial thrills Super Bowl Audiences!

Honda won over Super Bowl audiences this past weekend before the opening kickoff. By releasing their "Ferris Bueller's Day Off"-spoofed Honda CR-V commercial before the big weekend, Honda won over the audience early by getting over 18.4 million web views of their "Matthew's Day Off" video before the game began. The commercial shows film star Matthew Broderick, made famous by his starring role in "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" calling in sick to work and having a day about town much like Ferris does in the movie, but while driving a Honda CR-V. The commercial has many callbacks to the movie, emulating many of the most famous and popular scenes. Make sure to check out the commercial on our home screen!!

The 2012 Honda CR-V has an all-new design including a bold front bumper and 17-inch alloy wheels. The CR-V is built for maximum fuel economy with an interior Econ button. The button allows the driver to be aware of how the car is handling and by simply pressing it, the vehicle will automatically adjust its system to better maximize its fuel economy. The interior also features the "Intelligent Multi-Information Display" that communicates everything from text messages to fuel consumption and even has Pandora radio!

The CR-V comes equipped with a 2.4-liter, 4-cylinder engine and all-wheel drive, plus Honda's trademark Intelligent Control System that offers reduced noise, vibration, and intuitively puts the car into all-wheel drive when needed. The control system offers the best in-drive train efficiency as well!

Come into Richfield Bloomington Honda today and take a test drive around town like Mr. Broderick did or speak to a member of our sales team about all the different features and options on the 2012 Honda CR-V!
