I had been looking at a new vehicle for awhile, Honda wasn't at the top of my list. My father has purchased a couple cars from Richfield Bloomington Honda over the years and Kevin has done a great job every time. I went into the Honda dealership quickly and Kevin recognized me instantly from me being way younger coming in with my father. They had a Blue 2014 Civic SI Sedan, Kevin showed me the very competitive rates right out of the gate. The only haggle was on my trade in witch is understandable. I really wanted a White Civic SI and, even though I ended up settling with my second choice witch was Blue Kevin went out of his way multiple times trying to find me a White one. Going through the Finance portion of thing I briefly worked with Chip he did a very good job and was very friendly. Me being a younger individual often times I would go to dealerships and feel that the sales person was brushing me off thinking i was just window shopping. That was not the feeling I got here and ultimately that experience is the reason i chose to do business with Honda and made a few compromises on the Vehicle. After a week of driving my new vehicle i love it and feel comfortable knowing the dealership will be there for me over the years i own this car.

I recently purchased a vehicle from Rick Howes he was able to answer all my questions & was very friendly. He also communicated clearly and handled the process thoroughly from being to end. I will be telling my family and friends to go see Rick Howes when it's time for a new vehicle. However when I was introduced to Chip I had a very different experience he seemed a little aggressive with the warranty packages even after I had said no thank you more then once.

The new 2015 Honda Fit was supposed to come out in April 2014 and I was set to buy the first one that showed up on the lot and I had a deal in place that first week. I only wanted one thing - to get back in to a manual transmission. One thing led to another and the new Fit's didn't even begin to show up until the middle of June and then it was another two months before the first MTarrived. So, I ended up waiting about 4 months before I finally got my car. I was over at the dealership probably at least once a week for those 4 months getting updates on when my car would be in, and I got to know a lot of people there pretty well because sometimes my salesperson would be busy with another customer or not in. They have a great team spirit and if my guy wasn't available, all of these people were more than willing to jump right in and help me out and I don't think you could go wrong dealing with any of them - Sue Wegleitner, Ron Gholson, John Ketchum, Bob Prins, Valerie Jackson, and Bill Foye. I bought my first car there in 1997 so I've dealt with these people a long time so I've gotta say that my personal favorite is Kevin DeCaluwe who has looked out for me these many years. But I truly think they're all great people. When my car finally did show up, Kevin was in Kansas City with his family and Ron Gholson jumped right in and took great care of me. They've all been just great. So while I'm putting in plugs for people, there are two people on the service side I especially enjoy as well - although again, I don't think you could go wrong dealing with any of them. I think they're all up front and honest with you - it must be company policy or something. :) I've worked with Randy Doncaster for many years and he's my go to guy on the service side. He knows me, he knows what I'm looking to do, and he doesn't try to sell me a bill of goods. When Randy is not around, I've also gotten to know Duane Shocinski quite well over the years, so he's my back up guy when I can't find Randy. I trust them both completely. I go to other dealerships just to compare. But I love my Honda's and I love RBHonda and I can't image ever buying a car from somebody else.

Our good experience started with Blake Folstad, continued with Tim and ended with Chip Richards. All three did their jobs well and got us into a great car, the CR-V. I definitely recommend RB Honda!
