Kevin DeCaluwe was friendly, supportive, and professional. I felt like I was working with a family member rather than a dealer. He did everything that he could to get the best price for our lease, checking every available discount that Honda has from military service to educational. He explained every detail of the lease, as it was my first time leasing, and made sure that I new everything that I needed to know from the financial benefit of leasing a new vehicle to what I can expect for a monthly payment. He told me about the accessories that I could get with the car but did not push me to buy anything. He even took the time to sit in the car and show me how to set everything from the bluetooth connectivity of my phone to the radio stations. Valerie Edwards-Jackson, our salesperson, displayed a remarkable amount of patience and understanding as we progressed through the process of leasing our car. Not only was Valerie knowledgable about the car itself (the CRV), she make sure that each request we had along the way was fulfilled correctly and in the time frame agreed upon. In other words, when Valerie said she would do something for us, it was done. I have already recommended Valerie and Bloomington Honda to people we know who are beginning their search for a car. Kevin DeCaluwe helped us purchase our new Pilot in August and went back to him when we needed a preowned vehicle for our newly licensed son. He helped us get a used CRV. My son loves it. I hardly ever write reviews, but I felt like this particular review is well-deserved. I bought a 2014 Honda Civic LX in October at RB Honda, and I'm ecstatic about my purchase. Kevin DeCaluwe was my service representative from start to finish, and I couldn't have been assigned to a more professional, competent, and accommodating salesperson. From the test drive to the final negotiation of the contract, Kevin was attentive and respectful throughout the entire experience. As a first-time new car buyer, I expected a pushy salesperson, but Kevin was the complete opposite. I told him at the outset that I was only shopping around and wanted to test drive the Civic, and he accompanied me on the drive without pushing his agenda on me. He even encouraged me to do more research if needed, which I did at home. I did some comparison shopping and I found a better deal on a website, and Kevin (and RB Honda) honored the price that I presented them. He even got me the college grad $500 down payment program, which I had to find on my own. After my test drive, Kevin and I exchanged text messages about prices for the next 3 days and we eventually agreed on one, which was the best offer after shopping around. What I appreciated the most about my experience in working with Kevin is that he respected my need to take my time and not rush into a decision. When I told him I felt rushed and needed more space to consider the purchase, he backed off while still maintaining my interest. He was even considerate enough to contact me after 5pm, knowing that I was busy teaching during the day. I could've easily given my business to another dealership on my list, but the friendly and respectful manner in which Kevin treated me made me want to reciprocate and give him my business. I'm sure that there are equally great salespeople at RB Honda, but I would ask for Kevin DeCaluwe if you can. He has the charm, charisma, and professionalism that makes car-buying a worthwhile experience. Even at the last minute when I drove off, Kevin helped with the car settings, shook my hand, and saw me drive off with my new car on Friday night at 7pm, when they were about to close shop. Now that's customer service! Buying a new car can be an anxiety-producing experience and it's a big investment in time and money, and Kevin will offer you the assurance you need in making the right decision, while turning a car sale into an art form. I bought my 2012 Honda Fit from Kevin Decaluwe. You will not find a better salesperson. Most importantly, he is very competent, responsive and honest. Additionally, he is friendly and respectful and a joy to work with. I appreciate very much the opportunity to work with a salesperson who gets back to me right away, answering all my questions and giving me printouts summarizing and detailing all the information I asked for. Recently, I've been looking for an SUV in addition to my Fit. I went back to RB Honda and asked for Kevin. He's been helping me to make the right decision for the SUV that would be best for me. I've looked at, and test drove, the 2015 Honda CR-V. It was between that make/model and one other 2015 vehicle. It was such a close decision, but there was one feature in the other SUV that will work better for me, so I went with the other make/model. My biggest regret is that I won't be able to have Kevin as my salesperson. He was so gracious when I let him know that this second car purchased won't be a Honda.

I was shopping around for a 2015 Honda CRV, and from the moment I got Neng Lee on the phone at RB Honda, the customer service experience exceeded expectations. I had several questions which Neng looked into for me, and then called me back promptly. RB Honda gave me the best price, beating Walser and two other dealers. Neng had the add-ons installed on the car within a few hours, even though one part was not in stock at RB at the time of my call. When we came in to the dealership, Neng took time with us, showed us how everything worked, and was as friendly and calm as anyone could be. It wasn't until we were ready to go in to talk to the financing department that he let us know that his wife was literally about to go into the hospital to deliver their baby. Neng left for the hospital, and we had a low-pressure, smooth experience with financing. I couldn't recommend RB Honda and Neng more highly. Neng followed up with a call a few days after our purchase. They had a baby girl.
